May Club activity - Karingal Chase Ride This Sunday May 20th
Ready to race Karingal yet!! Well here is a great opportunity to get a great feel for the actual race track and have some fun as well. While we have no Underwood Park $10 club race this month we are offering the opportunity to "chase" around the Karingal track for a $10 track fee. ($5 Day licence required for non-MTBA members)
What is a "Chase" Ride? It is basically a graded ride where you are "racing" or "chasing" around a track without timing or places being taken. The idea is for groups to stay together and if a rider has difficulty staying with a group they can drop back to a following group. The ride is like a group training session with riders being pushed to stay in contact with each other while also chasing down other groups.

PCS learn to ride karingal the pro's way!
If you are racing Round 2 of the KWT Maxxis SEQ MTB XC Series on Sunday 27th May 2012 (or even if you're not), why not come and learn the race course and practice it the way the pros do it! Donna Dall and Jodie Willett will demonstrate and section the race track just as the Aussie team would at a World Cup. You will have plenty of time to get familiar with all the features and you will come away with more confidence for race day! We will do one slow lap, re-riding and practicing the more trickier sections of the course and then for those with enough energy to spare, can do a "hot" lap to bring it all together! Please HURRY as places are limited!
Time: Saturday 26th May from 2pm to 4.30pm!
Cost: $25.00 for MTBA members (or +$5 for non MTBA members for insurance purposes)
